MAJESTIC LANDSCAPES                                             MAJESTÄTISCHE LANDSCHAFTEN

Nepal is a small and very beautiful bio-diversified landlocked sovereign Himalayan country, situated between two giant neighbors China (Tibet Autonomous Region of The People's Republic of China) in the North and India in the East, South and West.

Nepal occupies the total area of 147 181 km2, which streches in its length of about 900 km from East to West and widens between about 150 to 250 km from North to South.

The extensive variety of topographical changes from low land to Mt Everest (8848m), the highest peak on earth, creates high difference in its ecological and cultural diversity.

The Himalayan region in the northern part is unique with its large number of snow-crapped mountains and Terai in the South bearing a vast potential of agriculture due to suitable climate and fertile land. The Hilly region lies in the middle between Himalayas and Terai along with its meticulously cultivated farms and their small settlements scattered in the hills.
